Host Requirements for Private In-Home Winery Tastings

Thank you for your interest in hosting a private tasting event! To ensure a smooth and memorable experience, here’s what’s required from our hosts:

Who Can Host

• Age Requirement: Hosts and all attendees must be 21+.
• Event Type: Tastings are private, by invitation only.
• Venue Restrictions: Events may not be held in liquor-licensed venues.

Space & Setup

• Group Size: Ideal for 8–16 guests (larger formats available upon request).
• Space: A well-lit area with one 6–8 ft table for setup.
• Glassware: One glass per guest (or confirm with us if we are providing).
• Essentials: Access to water, a trash receptacle, and light snacks (cheese/charcuterie recommended; avoid strong aromas).

Timing & Flow

• Duration: Approximately 90–120 minutes.
• Format:
  1. Welcome & Introduction
  2. Guided Tasting of 5–8 wines (1–2 oz pours)
  3. Q&A and Wine Ordering

Purchases & Fees

• Minimum Commitment:
  • Host and guests collectively agree to a 5–case purchase minimum (customizable).
  • OR, a refundable event fee that is waived once the minimum purchase is met.
• Discounts: Guests enjoy preferred pricing during the event (e.g., 10–15% off plus complimentary shipping on qualifying orders).
• Order Processing: All sales are handled directly by the winery. The host never collects payment.

Your Role as Host

• Invite your guests (we’ll provide save-the-date language).
• Provide a clean, comfortable space for the event.
• Ensure all guests are 21+ and ready to enjoy the experience!
