Wilson Vineyards is now Hiring experienced Vineyard Workers!

JOB SUMMARY:

Duties include but are not limited to, performing all tasks related to vineyard maintenance. Must be able to travel to multiple locations throughout Sonoma and Mendocino County. This position is full-time, Monday through Saturday. Hours worked will vary depending upon the season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, pruning, tying, sucker removal, planting vines and picking grapes during harvest.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to safely and effectively operate various tools and equipment. Must be able to lift/move/carry up to 80 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision at times. Must be available to work extended hours when needed and take proper care of equipment. Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.

EXPERIENCE:

Vineyard experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Fluent in Spanish. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A Reasonable accommodation, if available, may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks on a regular, full-time basis and possess the ability to lift/move/carry/push/pull 80 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Must be able to safely and accurately operate/use various types of equipment and tools and stand/walk for long periods of time. Must be able to see, speak, listen, hear, lift, move, carry, walk, pull, push, stack, carry, reach and use arms, hands and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The duties of this position are performed outdoors, so employees in this position must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather. This position also requires travel to various company locations.
