Open Positions

JOB SUMMARY:
Duties include but are not limited to, performing all tasks related to vineyard maintenance. The incumbent will travel to multiple locations throughout Sonoma and Mendocino County to perform these duties. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. This position is full-time, Monday through Saturday. Hours worked may vary depending upon the season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent is responsible for performing various vineyard maintenance duties in a safe and efficient manner. Duties may include, but are not limited to, pruning, tying, sucker removal, planting vines and picking grapes during harvest.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age and able to safely and effectively operate various tools and equipment. Must be able to lift/move/carry up to 80 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Must be able to understand instructions and execute them in an accurate and timely manner. Must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision at times. Must be available to work extended hours when needed and take
proper care of equipment.

EXPERIENCE:
Vineyard experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in Spanish. Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks on a regular, full-time basis and possess the

JOB SUMMARY: The Bar-back/Busser is responsible for supporting the tasting room staff in a variety of ways to ensure the tasting room operates at peak efficiency and provides exceptional guest service. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects managements’ definition of the essential functions for this position, but does not restrict the duties that may be assigned. Management may change the duties and responsibilities at any time.

 Welcome and seat guests

 Ensure that the guest experience meets company standards

 Clear glasses from bar and tables after guests leave

 Wash and buff glasses, silverware, etc.

 Restock glassware in designated areas

 Reset and arrange tables

 Restock merchandise and collateral materials as needed

 Respond appropriately to guest requests; promptly communicate guest requests to tasting room staff

 Check floor and ashtrays and clean as needed

 Collect/dispose of garbage

 Perform various housekeeping duties inside the tasting room, rest rooms and the surrounding grounds

 Provide exceptional guest service

 Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Must be at least 18 years of age.

 Must be fluent in English. Bi-lingual preferred

 Exceptional customer service skills

 Must be able to communicate in an effective manner

 Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

 Must be able to work weekends, holidays, events and extended hours when needed

 Able to work collaboratively as part of the team and maintain a positive demeanor

 Ability to stand for extended periods of time

JOB SUMMARY: The Tasting Room Sales Associate is responsible for providing a memorable guest experience by providing exceptional service and hospitality. The Tasting Room Sales Associate must be adept at building relationships that promote the sale of wine, brandy and wine club memberships. Contributes to meeting or exceeding team sales goals. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Ensures that all guests are greeted in a friendly and professional manner.

 Communicates in a knowledgeable, professional and gracious manner to all guests.

 Maintains the tasting room environment by ensuring that it is inviting and appealing.

 ID’s guests when needed to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcohol.

 Serves samples of wine and brandy for guests in both individual and group settings.

 Shares appropriate information and educates guests about our wines, brandy, brand history, sister wineries and lodging.

 Able to effectively resolve any guest dissatisfaction.

 Accurately operates POS system and other office equipment.

 Ensures that tasting room is properly stocked and inventory is being accurately recorded.

 Accurately completes end of day reports, reconciles daily sales and posts transactions.

 Demonstrates personal accountability by completing all job duties in a correct and timely manner and by following all company policies and procedures.

 Performs all opening and closing duties.

 Ensures that the tasting room is clean by disposing of trash, wiping counters and tabletops, cleaning and polishing glassware, etc.

 Restock wine and glassware in the tasting room as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Must be at least 21 years of age.

 First-hand knowledge, appreciation of, and passion regarding wine and wine-related topics.

 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

 Ability to present products, up sell and cross sell.

 Strong interpersonal awareness, relationship management and influencing skills.

 Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale applications.

 Database management, social media and data entry experience a plus.

 Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime.

 Present a professional appearance and demeanor.

 Must be a team player and maintain a positive disposition.

 Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
