BARBACK/BUSSER – COYOTE SONOMA

We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated individual to join our team at Coyote Sonoma as a part-time Barback/Busser. Weekends/evening shifts are required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Bar-back/Busser is responsible for supporting the tap room and restaurant in a variety of ways to ensure a satisfying guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clear and clean tables after guests depart;
  • Wash and buff glasses, silverware, etc.;
  • Restock glassware in designated areas;
  • Arrange/move tables and chairs as directed;
  • Collect/dispose of garbage;
  • Perform various housekeeping duties;
  • Provide exceptional guest service;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or possess a valid work permit;
  • Must be fluent in English. Bi-lingual preferred;
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills;
  • Must be able to communicate in a polite manner;
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness;
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours as needed;
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of the team and maintain a positive demeanor;
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time;
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working primarily in a restaurant/tap room environment. Duties will also be performed outside on the patio. The noise level in the work environment is usually low; however, events may have a higher level of noise.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be performed by an employee to successfully carry out the essential functions of the Bar-back/Busser position.   • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate respectfully and effectively with guests and team members;
  • The employee is regularly required to use arms, hands and legs;
  • The employee must be able to hear, listen, see and speak;
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, move, bend, reach, balance and walk for prolonged periods of time;
  • The employee must be able to lift/move/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis;
  • The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb.
